As the PCIM Europe Conference commences, there are already winners to announce. Five exceptionally good submissions were selected by a jury for their outstanding work.

Despite a challenging political and economic environment, Formnext has recorded solid and pleasing figures for its 10th anniversary: By the beginning of March 2025, already 533 companies from 34 countries had registered for the international trade fair for Additive Manufacturing and the next generation of industrial production.

With an impressive expansion of the exhibition space and a growing number of exhibitors, the EMV 2025 is entering the next round as a major platform for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) – from 25 – 27 March in Stuttgart.

From 6 to 8 May 2025, the leading international exhibition and conference for power electronics, the PCIM Expo & Conference, returns to Nuremberg, Germany. 

In mid-November 2024, 51,291 visitors and 1,114 exhibiting companies came together in the Franconian city of Nuremberg, where, once again, the focus was on smart and digital automation. 

Due to an unfavorable scheduling constellation and the challenging situation in the AM industry, Formnext Chicago will not take place in 2025 and will be postponed.

This year’s SPS – Smart Production Solutions, the end-of-year highlight of the automation industry calendar, will take place in Nuremberg from 12 – 14 November 2024. 

The call for workshops has been launched: Representatives from science and industry are invited to apply to be speakers and submit their abstract by 10.09.2024. 

Stuttgart, Germany, 25 June 2024. The organizer Mesago Messe Frankfurt has decided to discontinue the SMTconnect. The event will no longer take place as from next year.

The world of Additive Manufacturing is being driven by talented, motivated individuals. They develop new technologies, found companies, and open up new applications. Formnext has therefore developed a new iteration of its previous awards format, the Formnext Awards, in order to raise the profile of these talents and their ideas. In future, the awards will be presented across six different categories, including young innovative companies, sustainable business ideas, and pioneering technologies. 

In addition to products and solutions from 165 exhibitors, the focus at the SMTconnect 2024 in Nuremberg, Germany, from 11 – 13 June 2024 was primarily on personal exchange on current trends and developments in electronics manufacturing.
